Created in 2017 after London pride Thomas spotted these monochrome sweet treat packets in the supermarket at waterloo, the packets screamed out to him. Not only was he inspired as he is a pride ambassador but because the clean monochrome lines of the pack looked like something he would do. There was a large amount of white background screaming to be filled with illustration, so he did just that, inspired by the spirit of 'Pride' and Wolski’s favourite after school treat.
Each pack was carefully emptied, flattened and then freehand illustrated, each a compleltely unique work of art and mounted on a different colour of the rainbow to highlight the relief of the images.
The packs were created by skittles to give the rainbow back to the LGBT community in support of pride, hence there being no colours used and even the sugar coated shells inside stripped of their colour but not their delicious falvour.
