A print of a transformed Harley Davidson petrol tank into a canvas reflecting personal fears and resilience this year (2025). Sprayed in a crisp white, the tank serves as a stark backdrop for the intricate illustration of a pair of lungs rendered in deep black ink. This imagery captures the duality of vulnerability and strength, mirroring an emotional journey throughout this period. The exposed petrol tank, empty and stripped of its function, symbolises a profound sense of exhaustion and defeat at times—an embodiment of feeling “out of gas” in a world that demands relentless forward motion. The delicate lungs, meticulously illustrated, filled with icons and metaphors representing so many different thoughts and memories evoke the weight of my emotions, reminding me of the fragility inherent in the human experience. Through this artwork he invites viewers to confront their vulnerabilities and recognise the emotional toll that life can impose. (A positive experience) Yet, within this portrayal of fatigue lies a message of hope and perseverance. The metaphor of refuelling resonates deeply with, suggesting that we must find the strength to top up and continue our journey, no matter how daunting it may seem. “I Can Harley Breathe” ultimately stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, encouraging both himself and others to embrace our struggles while celebrating the relentless drive to keep going. "I’m so lucky to be able to express a period of time in to an artwork, like very fancy journaling haha. We must keep going and ultimately enjoy." Completing this allowed him to feel a sense of achievement, expression and maturity.
