A stunning day with the sun bright and beaming on Mere’s centre court for all three days, Champagne, strawberries, gorgeous people and lots of balls. The legends proved how they attained their status with quick hands and fast feet. Legends, Barbara Schett and Iva Majoli were on form for the mixed doubles.

The event is a stunning showcase, not only for the Mere golf resort and spa but the sponsors and in association with Boodles fine jewellery it really was a diamond do. Mingling with Cheshire's finest, the tennis players and guests from around the globe with sundowner cocktails on tap.
