'Equality Street' (2019) For Stonewall's 30 Year Anniversary

Who doesn’t like a toffee finger? This piece titled ‘Equality Street’ was created for the Stonewall 30 year anniversary equality dinner, hence the name being so much fun. A vibrant and glowing play on this iconic treat featuring Wolski’s signature and very recognisable mish-mash of illustration adorning the resin block. Zany elements mixed with a host of items to celebrate Stonewall’s 30 years, the piece will go up for auction on London's Park Lane 14th March 2019 with 100% of the proceeds going to the Stonewall charity.

‘Equality Street’ is a place where we will all be able to live hopefully one day and where everyone is equal. We are already taking steps to walk down this road with 30 years of educating people to get there. People come in all different colours, shapes and sizes and no one deserves to be judged by their wrapping as we all know it’s what’s inside that counts. Thomas is a bit of a nut but you could be a soft centre or even a little tough.

As well as the artwork being truly unique Quality Street jumped at the chance to proudly collaborate with Wolski to create a one of a kind engraved tin to help elevate and showcase the piece reading ‘Equality Street’ which is a true collectors piece.

The toffee can be displayed in its glorious yellow wrapping or unwrapped and displayed in its original monochromatic form, just don’t throw out the tin once you’ve scoffed the choccies!

30 x 9.5 x 7.5cm. Freehand illustrated polyresin block in acetate wrap. Including one of a kind custom engraved Quality Street tin. £7,500
